In a nod to the prevailing trend of crossover skins dominating in-game stores, Among Us has unveiled an exciting collaboration with popular indie games. The latest update introduces the Cosmicube, a virtual treasure chest brimming with cosmetic delights inspired by iconic titles like Undertale, Celeste, A Hat in Time, Crypt of the Necrodancer, Untitled Goose Game, Alien Hominid Invasion, and Castle Crashers. Priced at 7000 beans, the Cosmicube features a dazzling array of 25 hats, 18 skins, 12 nameplates, 9 visors, and 6 pets, each intricately designed to capture the essence of the beloved indie universes. The accompanying gallery of featured skins has already sparked anticipation within the Among Us community.

Beyond the cosmetic extravaganza, the update brings a series of patches aimed at refining the gaming experience. Notably, the Among Us team has deprecated 2021 versions of the game, emphasizing the need for players to update to the latest versions. The patch notes explain, "We’ve been supporting a lot of older versions of the game, and as it continues to grow and get new features, it gets harder to keep up. We have to remove older versions so we can focus on improving our system for everyone. Make sure you update your game and thanks for understanding!" This bold move not only enhances the visual appeal of Among Us but also signals the developers' commitment to ongoing improvement and innovation in the gaming realm.
