Infinity Stones in Infinity War
According to details shared by a Reddit user, God of War features the Infinity Stones collected by Thanos in Infinity War and Thanos' gauntlet. The Shattered Gauntlet of Ages, which can be fitted with the Infinity Stones from Avengers: Infinity War, is also available in the game
The in-game versions of these stones in God of War are as follows:
- Andvari’s Soul – Soul Stone
- Eye of the Outer Realm – Space Stone – Tesseract
- Njord’s Temporal Stone – Time Stone
- Ivaldi’s Corrupted Mind – Mind Stone
- Asgard’s Shard of Existence – Reality Stone
- Muspelheim Eye of Power – Power Stone
Unlike the movie, you can only place three of these stones in the Shattered Gauntlet of Ages. When you add the Soul, Mind, and Time stones, you can unleash a powerful purple beam just like Thanos. In addition, Thor's transition to an ax in the movie draws attention to its resemblance to the Leviathan Axe. It's intriguing to speculate about other similarities between God of War and Avengers that might emerge.
Another topic concerning both productions is acquiring the Shattered Gauntlet of Ages during the "Family Business" quest for Sindri in Norhri Stronghold. You can use it after completing the main story section called "The Sickness." This talisman grants you a shockwave ability useful against crowds, but it's not very powerful.
However, at this point, it becomes apparent that the Shattered Gauntlet of Age hides a secret. By spending money and resources, you can transform it into the God of War version of Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet from Avengers: Infinity War. When fully upgraded and equipped with some stones, you unlock a powerful ranged weapon. This is another powerful feature the two productions grant to you as a player.
