A Great Announcement From Warner Bros

Warner Bros. announced that they are developing a Harry Potter game called Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, following the success of the recently released Hogwarts Legacy game. Although details are currently scarce, the game's official website features a registration portal for the game tester team. From the available information, it appears that Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be a fast-paced, online multiplayer game. Additionally, it has been stated that the game has been in development for several years and this is not a new decision for the studio.

In Quidditch, two teams made up of players from four different houses compete against each other. Each team consists of seven players: three chasers, two beaters, one keeper, and one seeker. Players fly on broomsticks and battle to score goals by throwing a ball called a quaffle through hoops. Beaters interfere by throwing or blocking the ball towards opposing players. The keeper's job is to defend their team's hoops, while the seeker fights to find and catch a small golden ball called the Snitch. When the Snitch is caught, the game ends and the capturing team earns 150 points.

After all of this, we hope that Warner Bros. has put effort into gameplay mechanics and satisfying visuals for this type of production. Although we are concerned about the gameplay mechanics and overall reception following the lackluster reception of Gotham Knight and Midnight Suns, we are also hopeful for a surprise like Hogwarts Legacy.
