Xbox Game Pass’s Subscriber Count

Microsoft has shared the subscriber count of Xbox Game Pass. As of February 2024, Xbox Game Pass has 34 million subscribers. This number includes Xbox console, PC, and Ultimate subscribers, as well as Game Pass Core, which replaces Live Gold.

Growth in Subscriber Count

The current number shows that the growth in Xbox Game Pass subscriber count has slowed down and things are not going well. The last announcement in 2022 reported this number as 25 million. This means that only 9 million new subscribers have arrived in two years, showing an average annual increase of only 18%.

Past Growth

Game Pass, which was released in 2017, reached 10 million subscribers in April 2020. Just five months later, the subscriber count increased by 5 million, and in January 2021, it reached 18 million. This means an increase of around 90% annually. This number reached 25 million in 2022 with an increase of 7 million.

New Games

The company announced that Blizzard’s beloved game Diablo IV will come to Game Pass. This means that the first major game to be added to the subscription after the company’s merger with Activision Blizzard will be Diablo IV.
