STALKER 2 Receives Major Update with Over 1,200 Fixes and Improvements

Performance and Stability:

Nearly 100 crash and memory leak issues have been resolved, making the game more stable.

AI and Combat Mechanics:

Mutants now move more smoothly during combat. NPCs react more accurately to footsteps, and ambush behavior of mutants has been optimized. Additionally, an issue where mutants attacked NPCs in safe zones has been fixed.

Visual and Atmospheric Enhancements:

New death screens now change based on the cause of death. Flashlight shadows have been improved for more realistic lighting. NPC movements and shooting animations have also been refined.

Quest Fixes:

Various bugs in main and side quests have been addressed, allowing for a smoother progression through the storyline.

This update aims to enhance the overall gameplay experience based on player feedback. GSC Game World continues to work on further improvements for STALKER 2.
